The SG-series is the renewed SD-series. Compared to the old SD-series, the SG-series offers a wider power range and new EU Stage 2 - classification compliant AGCO Sisu Power common rail diesel engines alongside EU Stage 0 compliant engines. Diesel engines according to EU Stage 2 are required in mobile applications.

PRP - Prime Power Rating at 50 Hz, corresponding to ISO 8528 standard for continuous operation at variable load. Overload capability 10 % max. 1 h.

LTP - Limited Time Power Rating at 50 Hz, corresponding to ISO 8528 standard for standby operation in the event of a main power failure (mains failure). Max. 500 run hours per year. No overload is permitted..

For instance, a back-up power generator should be fitted with options making it possible to make the turn-on and synchronization process automatic.
